The Chicago style of referencing is maintained by the University of Chicago Press, and is used by history and economics disciplines. In the 1930s, Kate Turabian wrote a simplified version of the Chicago for use by students, and that style is called Chicago-Turabian.
Chicago-Turabian requires sources to be footnoted as they are cited in the text and a full bibliography to be included at the end collecting all of the sources.
The latest edition of Chicago-Turabian manual is the 16th edition. It was published in 2010.
